Crepori, Sucuri and Bom Jardim/Circulo Prospects
Brazauro has obtained an option to purchase agreement on a new promising property in the Tapajós region named Crepori. The Crepori prospect is located near the mouth of the Crepori River and the Tapajós River, 220 km SW from Itaituba. A camp was recently built to support soil gridding and sampling along with geological mapping. The soil geochemistry survey and geologic mapping are underway in order to support drilling before the start of the rainy season in December 2007.
The Sucuri prospect is located in the southern portion of the Tapajós District. It is currently under evaluation by management and the Company is waiting for the DNPM's renewal of the exploration license for reassessment of the project in terms of a more detailed drilling of the high grade lodes as well as for a better understanding of the mineralization present in the altered wall rock.
The Bom Jardim/Circulo prospect is located approximately 30km NE of the Crepori mouth at theTapajós river. Here, Brazauro has applications for 38,000 hectares and is expected to be granted exploration licenses in 2007.
